SEARCH TIPS:

1) You don't need the complete name of song or artist. You don't have to capitalize any letters. Bonus: you can search for song titles with just a word or phrase (such as all songs titles with the word Love in them).

2) When searching for all songs by a particular artist like Bob Seger (don't add System or Silver Bullet Band unless you want just those songs), type the name in search box then click Search by Artist. List will appear including the total amount of songs and the song titles (example: Bob Seger will show 179 results, Bob Seger System only 21).

3) Don't add "The" at the beginning names of songs or in front of groups and band names except when necessary to narrow your search results.

Example: for songs, search first using "Atomic Dog" NOT "The Atomic Dog" minus the quotation marks. For artists, search first using "Four Seasons" NOT "The Four Seasons" minus the quotation marks.

4) If searching or browsing for artists by clicking on letters, consider this: artists are listed under the FIRST LETTER of beginning of their names. Example: Bob Seger is listed under B for Bob, Frank Sinatra is under F for Frank. Some groups will be listed under T for The as in The Four Seasons. Some groups like CCR or BTO might have separate listings for their full names and acronyms. Artists like 50 Cent will be found under the number symbol: #.

5) When searching artists, don't use "&" or "and", skip them - you'll get better results.

6) If you see a song listed more than once, that means each song is on a different cd and might have a different sound or be a different version.

7) If you want to hear a sample of a song, see if a speaker icon is on the left of the song or artist title. If there is one, click it and it will take you to a page that might contain the music clip. Be advised, not every song has a sound clip.

8) As with any new program, Mike needs to correct a few bugs, so please be patient. Search results should be almost 100 percent accurate soon.

Remember, if you don't find what you're looking for, ask Mike if he has it. BONUS: each person who hires Mike is provided with a more powerful online tool that organizes requests, prints your individual songlist...

If the search function isn't working or it doesn't have any songs, that probably means Mike is updating and adding songs. Please try again in about an hour.
